Since the days of little league tee-ball coached by Dad, I’ve lived (and played) with one mission in mind:
"Be a good sport. Try your best. And have fun!
If you do all of the above, you’ve won."
Although this mission for winning was first applied to my athletics, I wanted to be a winner in more than just that.
Because, why not win if it’s that easy?

ABOUT
Let me introduce myself.
I’m a strategic thinker, a thoughtful creative, and I’m passionate about working hard without realizing it’s even work. To me, work is play when you like what you do.
I'm a problem solver, a hard worker and an optimist. I believe in making good things great and great things better.
I like being part of a team... and tend to jump at the opportunity to lead them. I love a productive brainstorm with passionate people. And I value bad ideas that ultimately lead to the really good ones.
I like to learn, stay busy and face challenges. And I love to be surrounded by other humans. I just like people. A lot. People and the brands they represent. Hardworking strategists and far-reaching creatives who strive to make their brands and the brands they represent shine. Those are my kind of people.
SO, WHAT'S MY STORY?
Well, this is it... for now.
I left my Hoosier hometown in Indianapolis to pursue an education in communication and marketing at the University of Dayton where I lived on a tight budget and became accustomed to bad coffee.
As a recent addition to the Account Management team at Young & Laramore, an Indy-based ad agency, I've been a part of incredible work with incredible minds. I've contributed to the team by managing projects and conducting research for some impressive brands, and I've stayed busy enough to forget that I have entered the "real world" ... for good.
"Hardworking, creative and curious intern with an eye for design and detail" was my identity for the summer of 2013 and 2014. Recently, at Willow Marketing, a full-service marketing agency in Indianapolis, I had a hand in just about every project of the summer, which included catalogs, signage, websites, and pretty much anything else that represents a brand. I paid close attention to internal development and relationships and work with clients. In 2013 I took on the task of introducing marketing and brand strategy to the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville, where the majority of my work concerned its digital presence.
As a UD Flyer, I added involvements to my already busy schedule with a job as a writing consultant and continuous leadership in my sorority, Chi Omega, as the Recruitment Chair and Director of Marketing. After four years, you could definitely assume that my passion for marketing, advertising and branding has been fueled sufficiently.
So, I'm pretty stoked to dive into a career in the vast world of marketing, advertising and communication.

“I'm a font enthusiast and caffeinated beverage fanatic. DIY is my approach to more than just crafting and home improvement. I have a habit of proofreading just about anything with words. And I'd choose a bag of chips over dessert any day of the week.”
